Actor and singer Fiuk is the new partner and supporter of Projeto Anjinhos da Rua, the largest private sanctuary in the world for the defense of abandoned animals.
Friend of Chalana Machado and his family, creator and maintainer of the sanctuary, Fiuk and his dogs, Toth and Gaia, both of the border collie breed, were always present with frequent visits and support to the animal cause. Fiuk knows and trusts the work carried out by the project, who is fully responsible and who has always respected and took good care of all the animals.
Inaugurated in 2006, the Projeto Anjinhos da Rua has 1 million square meters and more than 1500 animals. Located in Peruíbe, on the south coast of São Paulo, the sanctuary is completely private. Among the animals that live there are: dogs, cats, oxen, cows, horses, mares, pigs, rabbits, chickens, turtles and even a buffalo.
With a structure of operating rooms and hospitalization wards, the project takes care of animals that were victims of abandonment and/or abuse. With more than 60 employees, including caregivers, veterinarians, biologists, administrative and marketing department, the objective of Projeto Anjinhos da Rua is to grow more and more so that even greater work is done, saving other lives and giving love, affection, care , care and dignity to animals.
In addition to being private, the sanctuary does not charge for care, which is monitored and organized by the entire team. They don’t adopt animals either, there, they all have a definitive home in the project.
